Im Hafen von London ankert die Campania, ein luxuriöser Transatlantik-Liner, der unter großem Jubel seine Jungfernfahrt nach New York antreten soll. Auch Ciel, Erbe des mächtigen Phantomhive-Imperiums, und sein treuer Butler Sebastian gehen an Bord, um den Machenschaften eines Geheimbundes auf den Grund zu gehen. Es heißt, die „Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft Aurora“ experimentiere mit unerlaubten Menschenversuchen, um Tote wieder zum Leben zu erwecken. Tatsächlich erwacht bei der exklusiven Versammlung der Gesellschaft eine Leiche – nur, um kurz darauf als blutrünstiger Zombie die Lebenden anzugreifen. Es kommt jedoch noch schlimmer, denn im Frachtraum lagern unzählige weitere Tote.
